Michelle’s Philosophy is quite simple, she believes makeup should be worn tastefully to enhance ones natural features, complimenting the skin, personality and style. She creates a strong focus on skincare and prep as she believes it is very critical to ensure the Makeup wears invisibly and looks flawless for many hours and all climates.
Michelle’s Professional personality, years of knowledge and skills as well as reliability is what has her clients knowing they are in very good hands and can always leave feeling empowered and beautiful.

Ever since a very young age Michelle had a passion for art, makeup, creating and design. Since she started working she always enjoyed having multiple jobs and her work ethic has always showed that. After high school, Michelle took Sciences at Concordia and the University of Alberta, and soon after that she enrolled at one of the best schools in the world for Professional Makeup Artistry, Blanche Macdonald in Vancouver, BC. She wanted to get the best Education possible so she packed her bags and moved west at the age 19. Michelle always dreamed of having her own business and creating products, and in 2006 she established MiMi Makeup. Michelle released the first product to the MiMi Makeup skincare line in 2018.
Since 2005 Michelle has had many opportunities to work with many other Makeup Artists and Photographers, models for various editorial, fashion and films. She has worked with CTV News for many of their commercials as well as for TSN for many of their sporting events. Some of the talents she has had the opportunity to work with over and over again are James and Oliver Phelps, Dave Randorf, Jock Climie, Chris Schultz, Matt Dunigan, Darren Dutchyshen, Bryan Mudryk, Michael Landsberg, Carrie Doll, Josh Classen, Darryl McIntyre, Stacey Brotzel, Carmen Leibel, Erin Isfeld and so many more.
